Who We Are...
We are a contemporary Christian Church that believes in Jesus and live to introduce as many people as we can to Him. We are a multi-generational and multi-cultural church that believes all people are loved and valued by Jesus. We do not focus on the outside of a man or woman, but rather the development of their heart for God. We are a church that believes it is your personal relationship with Jesus that will set you free and build you into a person that God can use for His good.
What We Believe...
We believe in the Trinity of God...
Father:
The Father is the head of the Trinity and governs all things according to His perfect will, which is to show the love of His Son to all people and through the work of salvation and offer them a share in the love He has for His Son
John 3:16: "For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son."
Son:
Jesus is the one for whom all the knowledge and love of God for creation flows through. Jesus is the only and perfect mediator between us and the Father. Therefore without a relationship with Him there is no access to God.
John 14:6: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit is our advocate, guide and comforter. It is through the Holy Spirit that the believer is connected fully to the Trinity of God. The Holy Spirit is our communication directly to God and brings forth power in the believer
John 16:7: "Truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.
The Bible:
The Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and a written testimony of His Son. It is without error and is the final authority in all things. It is the all sufficient foundation for life.
2 Timothy 3:16: "All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."
Salvation:
It is by the finished work of Christ we are saved. Nothing we do on our own will accomplish this. It is through our faith in Jesus and by the grace which come through Him from God that we are saved.
Ephesians 2:8: "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God."
Healing:
It is natural for us to walk in the supernatural. Jesus has given us the authority to speak to our mountains, sickness, fears, lack and anything else the devil tries to put on us. He has given us specific directions to be over-comers in all things, if only we believe.
Mark 16:17: :And these signs will accompany those who believe...
John 14:12: Truly I tell you, who ever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."
The Church:
We believe the church body is the unified body of Christ with Christ as the head. We believe that all parts of the body must work in a unified manner and the expression of God's love should be expressed between all churches and church members. The church is YOU and starts with YOU. Your relationship with Jesus begins when He can set up His church inside of you.
1 Corinthians 12:2: The body is a unit, though it is comprised of many parts. And though its parts are many, they all form one body. So it is with Christ."
Our Mission, Vision and Values...
Mission:
At Impact Faith Church our mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus to our community, state, country and the world. Acts 1:8 says, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Vision:
Our vision is to be a church where the people are not comfortable sitting still. Our church is and will be a place where people can grow in the things of the Lord and expand their spiritual walk to a level they never imagined. 1 Peter 2:5 says that, "you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house...."
Values:
We base our values on one principle... Love. Without love nothing else can be fulfilled. Jesus gave himself out of love when mankind did not love Him. In John 15:12 He said, "My command is this, Love each other as I have loved you."
Our Purpose...
To be a church that ACTS. We have not been called to remain in the four walls of our building. We refuel within these walls so we can go out and seek the lost and bring them to the one who can change their life. Jesus said in Matthew 4:19, "Come follow me, and I will send you out to fish for men." Our purpose is to fish for men and let Jesus do the cleaning.
